When on campus at Griffith, configure your device to use the Griffith University Wi-Fi network. The eduroam network is available on campus to people visiting Griffith from other educational institutions.
All other visitors may access our public Wi-Fi.
STUDENTS
Have you connected to Griffith University or Eduroam WiFi before?
Yes - you need to forget this network using our guide then come back to step 1 of this guide.
No - follow these steps below.
1. Tap Settings, then select Network and internet > Internet.
2. Select Griffith University from the Networks section.
3. Enter the following:
- CA Certificate – Use system certificates
- Online certificate status – Do not verify
- Domain – wireless.griffith.edu.au
- Identity – Your Griffith Uni ID (e.g. s1230000)
- Anonymous identity – Leave blank or anonymous
- Password – Your Griffith Uni password
4. Tap Connect.
5. You may be asked to accept a security certificate for wireless.griffith.edu.au. If you are presented with this screen, tap Accept.

No - follow these steps below.
1. Tap Settings, then select WiFi.
2. Select Griffith University from the Networks section.
3. Enter the following:
- Username – Your Griffith Uni ID (e.g. s1230000)
- Password – Your Griffith Uni password
4. Tap Join.
5. You may be asked to accept a security certificate for wireless.griffith.edu.au. If you are presented with this screen, tap Accept.

No - follow these steps below.
1. Click the WiFi icon located in the top right of the desktop and select Griffith University from the drop-down menu.
2. Enter the following:
- Username – Your Griffith Uni ID (e.g. s1230000)
- Password – Your Griffith Uni password
3. Click the checkbox next to Remember this network.
4. Click Join.
5. You may be asked to accept a security certificate for wireless.griffith.edu.au. If you are presented with this screen, tap Accept.

No - follow these steps below.
1. Click on the Network icon located at the bottom right of the desktop to open Quick Settings.
2. Click on the right arrow next to the Wi-Fi symbol to show available networks.
3. Select Griffith University from the drop-down menu.
4. Click the checkbox next to Connect automatically.
5. Click Connect.
6. Enter the following:
- User name – Your Griffith Uni ID (e.g. s1230000)
- Password – Your Griffith Uni password
7. Click OK.
8. You may be asked to accept a security certificate for wireless.griffith.edu.au. If you are presented with this screen, tap Accept.
