Book a space on campus

At Griffith, we have a number of spaces across each of our campuses that are available for a variety of purposes. Staff can book rooms using our web room booking system. Members of the general public are also welcome to hire out our spaces. See below for details.

Meeting room bookings

From 13 October, common-use meeting rooms will be bookable for 2026 dates via your Outlook 365 Calendar only.

Staff members who wish to book a room at any Griffith campus, except Queensland Conservatorium at Brisbane City (South Bank), can do so via our online room booking system.

Venue hire

Hire one of our unique, contemporary and flexible spaces for your conference, seminar or special occasion. We also have a range of sporting facilities available to hire.

Student bookings

If you'd like to book a room related to your studies, contact your School to book the room on your behalf. If a booking is required for private use, venue hire charges will apply.

Student Club bookings

For student clubs on the Gold Coast, please call 07 5552 8724.

For student clubs on all other campuses, email clubs@griffith.edu.au.

Important information

Web bookings in teaching venues are open until and including 5 July 2026. Exclusions apply for Trimester 1 Orientation Week and central exam venues on exam dates. These will be made available after the release of the Orientation schedule and relevant exam timetables.

Common-use meeting rooms for booking dates after 1 January 2026 will be bookable only via your Outlook 365 Calendar. See the full list of meeting rooms in Outlook and explore FAQs, updates and support on the Office 365 Meeting Room Bookings site to learn more.

Please ensure all rooms are vacated with sufficient time to the appointed finish time and minimise congestion at room entry and exits.
