STEM Mania

Griffith University STEM Mania is a fun, online Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) program for students in years 5-12. Each week Griffith University will open a new hands-on STEM challenge that students can complete as individuals, teams or class groups. Once students have completed the challenge, they will upload their results to share with each other. Competitors will vote weekly to award Challenge Superstars and earn digital badges for each challenge they complete.

STEM Futures Day

In the next decade, 75 percent of all jobs will need skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM.

The Griffith University STEM Futures Day offers students the opportunity to attend hands-on workshops designed to inspire students to explore the fascinating world of STEM. Workshops are tailored accordingly to Year 9, Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12 students.

Griffith University’s Science on the Go! outreach program is delivered by a team of teaching professionals who are not only passionate about science, but are equipped with fundamental knowledge and experience to guide students towards achieving their full potential. For more than a decade Science on the Go! has been enlightening children, parents and teachers on scientific fundamentals in a fun and interactive way.

Pathway programs

Students can complete a first-year chemistry, physics or engineering university subject while studying senior science at high school throughout Year 11 and 12.

Bridging and short courses

Griffith Sciences bridging and short courses are particularly useful for students who have no or limited prior studies in the study areas, have had a significant break from prior studies or who simply wish to have a refresher course in a particular field.
