Asian Screen Institute and Griffith Film School Collaborate to Advance Asian Storytelling

The Asian Screen Institute (ASI) and Griffith Film School, Griffith University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a strategic agreement to foster collaboration in screen and media education, production, and industry engagement across the Asia-Pacific region.
The agreement reflects a shared commitment to nurturing creative talent, strengthening cross-border collaboration, and advancing the future of storytelling across Asia and beyond. Singapore-based Asian Screen Institute is an Asia-wide screen and media production and training institution focused on five core pillars: production, development, distribution, education, and culture. Recently launched, ASI aims to be the gateway for Asian creative excellence and a platform for elevating diverse voices and stories from across the region.
Through this collaboration, ASI and Griffith Film School will explore opportunities including student articulation, collaborative productions, industry exchanges, and study tours to connect emerging creatives with global industry networks.
Griffith Film School, one of Australia’s leading film and screen education institutions, brings extensive expertise in creative education, research, and industry engagement. Together, the institutions aim to create meaningful pathways for students and practitioners to develop skills, expand networks, and contribute to a vibrant and evolving screen ecosystem.
