The GELI Direct Entry Program Scholarship is for outstanding GELI Direct Entry Program students who are commencing at Griffith University in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree.

GELI Excellence Award

About the award

The GELI Excellence Award is designed to reward outstanding students and is presented 10 times a year.

Winners receive AUD$1,000* and are announced at the end of each five-week study period. All current GELI students who have completed at least 5 weeks of study may apply for the award.

*The AUD$1,000 prize may be paid into the winner's Australian bank account or will be credited to their Griffith University Student account.

Award winner

The GELI Excellence Award recognises students who are:

  • progressing well in their studies
  • attending 95% or more of their classes
  • attending GELI workshops
  • participating in GELI's Activities program
  • undertaking independent learning activities
  • active on the GELI Facebook page
  • contributing positively to enhance the student experience.
