We offer free after-class workshops to assist you to improve in specific skill areas such as grammar and vocabulary.

You can talk to an International Student Advisor about issues that affect your study and life in Australia. You might need a helping hand to settle into a new culture, country and study environment. At Griffith English Language Institute you are never alone.
Academic pathways
Specialised staff are available for one-on-one consultations to discuss your academic pathway and help you achieve your study goals.
Activities
Join free and low cost social activities to practise English, make new friends, learn new skills, and experience Australian culture.
Independent Learning
Undertake additional English language practice using specially developed independent learning plans to further enhance your language skills outside class. The independent learning plans relate to the themes and skills practised in class each week and are available online.

Griffith English Language Institute is a part of Griffith University, and you will have access to Griffith’s services and facilities including library, computer labs, sporting facilities, and health and welfare services.
Work while you study
Working part-time can also help complement your study and living experience. As an international student, you may be eligible to work up to 40 hours per fortnight, subject to visa restrictions.
