Rima Ismail-Jones commenced at Griffith University in 2015 as the Executive Officer of the Griffith Sciences Group. Rima has a diverse background in the higher education sector in Australia, operating in both universities and government. Prior to joining Griffith University, Rima held a range of management roles relating to higher education and international education strategy, policy and regulation within the Northern Territory Government Department of Education, the most recent being the Acting Director of Education Services. She has over 10 years’ experience in whole-of-institute and whole-of-government strategy development and implementation. Rima has represented the Northern Territory Government Department of Education in national forums, cross-agency and cross-jurisdiction committees.
In her current role, Rima supports the Pro Vice Chancellor in developing and implementing the Griffith Sciences Group strategic plan.
