Check your University-provided email to access your digital documents via My eQuals

From Thursday 16 January

6.

Your hard copy graduation certificate will be sent via registered mail (within Australia) or express courier (overseas).

Update your mailing address, phone number and email address by the deadline shown above to avoid re-send fees.

By Friday 24 January

7. Register to attend a July graduation ceremony (optional). An e-invitation will be sent to your University-provided email account today with instructions about how to register.  To be advised

Your graduation occurs when the Dean of the Griffith Graduate Research School approves the conferral of your award. This means conferral often occurs outside graduation ceremony rounds, but you will automatically be invited to attend the next available graduation ceremony.

After submitting your thesis, please follow the below steps and note as a Higher Degree Research student you will not have access to the online graduation status page; please ignore any references to checking your graduation status.

3.

Update your mailing address, phone number and email address to avoid re-send fees

4.

Wait for an email from the Thesis Examinations Office confirming the conferral of your award

5.

Check your university-provided email to access your digital graduation documents via My eQuals (usually within one week of the confirmation email from the Thesis Examinations Office)

6.

Receive your hard copy graduation certificate via registered mail (within Australia) or express courier (overseas)

Ceremonies

E-invitations containing the registration link will be sent to university-provided email addresses approximately three - five weeks before the ceremony, subject to you being conferred by that time.

If you would like to attend a graduation ceremony after your award has been conferred, please register as follows:

  • July ceremonies: between Monday 22 June and 5 pm Thursday 2 July (TBC).
  • December ceremonies: between Monday 16 November and 5 pm Thursday 26 November (TBC).

Immediately upon completion of your program requirements

Wait for email confirmation from Griffith OUA Services regarding your eligibility
