National surveys

Griffith participates in the national Student Experience Survey (SES) in August every year.

All first and later year onshore undergraduate and postgraduate by coursework students are invited to take the survey by email to their Griffith student inbox.

The SES is carried out by the Social Research Centre on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment and forms part of the Federal Government’s Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT).

The SES gives students the opportunity to provide feedback on various aspects of their university experience.

The results of the SES are used to improve student experience of higher education and learning and teaching in Australia.

Future students can make informed decisions on where to study using the ComparED website, which compares the performance of Australian universities in the SES and the Graduate Outcomes Survey (GOS).

The best way to get great results and make a real difference to the student experience at Griffith is to spread the word.

The more students who complete the survey, the more data we have on what works well and what needs to be improved at Griffith. By completing the survey, students will go into the weekly prize draw to win a share of $8,000 in prepaid VISA gift cards. In July each year, we will provide updated images and wording you can share through the channels you regularly use to communicate with your students.
