Reassessment

Reassessment is the opportunity to resubmit or re-attempt a failed assessment task. The Assessment Plan in the Course Profile will list if reassessment or re-attempt is available for an assessment item.

The Course Convenor with the Program Director will decide if there is the opportunity for reassessment. If you are awarded the opportunity to resubmit an assessment task, you can make changes to the task you have failed. You will have five working days from return of the assessment task to resubmit for re-examination. You will get one opportunity to resubmit and it will be re-examined by the original examiner. The final mark you will receive following reassessment will be no greater than the minimum pass mark for the assessment task.

Resubmission is not offered for research projects or dissertations.
