• Personal statements: Outline how the scholarship will support your current and/or aspirations in leadership. In this statement, you are encouraged to demonstrate value alignment to Griffith Business School values.
• Supporting documentation: You must upload the following:
  • CV detailing any recent academic achievements and/or work history
  • any other relevant supporting documentation that will qualify your personal statement.

Value

A tuition fee waiver valued at $10,000, payable in instalments up to $5,000 against the tuition fees for each trimester enrolled, up to the maximum value of the scholarship.

Please note that scholarship payments made to part-time students may be taxable.

Payment

Contributions to tuition fees are made prior to the census date subject to the recipient satisfying scholarship terms and conditions.

Remaining eligible for the scholarship is conditional on the recipient:

• maintaining a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.5
• remaining enrolled in the Griffith postgraduate business program
• seeking approval from the Business School prior to taking a leave of absence
• gaining approval from the Business School for any cross-institutional study.

Please note that this scholarship is only valid for trimester courses that fall under the postgraduate Business School program. It excludes all Open University Australia (OUA) programs and courses.

Recipients have a maximum of two years to complete their graduate certificate or four years to complete their masters degree.

Recipients agree to participate in reasonable promotional activity related to the scholarship, at the School's request.

The scholarship will be forfeited if the recipient:

• changes their program of study to a program offered by another faculty
• cancels their enrolment in the program.

The above conditions are verified each trimester at census date. If a scholarship recipient fails to successfully meet these conditions, it is at the discretion of the selection panel to withhold the trimester instalment or terminate the scholarship.

Successful applicants cannot be in receipt of any other scholarship or bursary funded by Griffith University.

Applications, including referee reports and any supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.

Applicants may be shortlisted and be required to provide additional information.

Griffith University reserves the right to withdraw an advertised scholarship at any time.
