Support to pursue an honours research project with GRIDD
This bursary provides financial assistance to students undertaking honours-level studies and a research project with a principal supervisor at the Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery (GRIDD).
The successful recipient will also intend on pursuing a PhD.

Scholarship details
To be eligible, you must:
- be enrolled to commence full-time, or have applied by the closing date to commence full-time study in Trimester 1 2024 in a one-year honours degree or the honours year of your undergraduate degree hosted by Griffith Sciences
- be undertaking a research project within Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery
- have completed your undergraduate study and achieved a minimum GPA of 5
- not be in receipt of any other scholarship or bursary funded by Griffith Sciences.

- Personal statement: Detail your career goals and aims to pursue a PhD following completion of your honours studies.
- Supporting documentation—you must upload the following:
- A completed and signed (by your Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery supervisor who has agreed to supervise your research) Honours Project and Supervisor Approval Form (DOCX, 20.2k).
- If your undergraduate degree was not completed at Griffith University, upload a copy of your academic transcript.

Value
This bursary is valued at $2,000 and is payable in a single instalment.
Payment
Payments are made up to six weeks after the census date, subject to the recipient satisfying bursary terms and conditions.
Payment is made, after census, on confirmation the recipient is enrolled at Griffith University and still meets eligibility requirements.
If a recipient of this bursary fails to successfully complete their program, it is at the discretion of the Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery Honours Bursary Selection Committee to require the recipient to repay a portion of the bursary entitlement.
Applications, including any supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.

Applicants may be shortlisted and be required to provide additional information.
