Multi-Function Devices

Consider using your local multi-function device (MFD) for simple jobs such as:

  • colour or black and white copies
  • double-sided printing
  • top-left stapled booklets and certificates

Access your print jobs from any staff MFD using your sNumber and password, your swipe card or an allocated PIN number.

Important: all lost and missing swipe cards should be reported to Campus Life for deactivation in the print system.

Ricoh and Griffith Green Partnership

Aimed at reducing our carbon footprint and regularly measuring our sustainability goals, the partnership will:

  • reduce paper use by default duplex print settings
  • reduce power consumption (less CO2) by default sleep mode settings
  • used toner cartridges and parts replacement recycling

Please give old cartridges to the mail room courier so that they can be recycled.

Do your part for our planet

Please use double-sided, black and white print settings where you can. This helps to reduce waste and make printing at Griffith more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

HP laser printers

HP laser printers are used for small work groups. They are network-connected and supported by IT Service Centre for parts, service warranty and next day on-site hardware support.

Please note:

  • non-standard network-connected printers need to be approved by ITSC and will attract a support charge
  • non-standard USB connected printers will attract a support charge
  • printers with Air Print will not be supported by ITSC


To purchase a printer, raise a purchase request on the staff portal and select MediaForm Pty Ltd as the supplier in Griffith Marketplace.


Laser printer cartridges can be purchased from Griffith Marketplace. Empty toner cartridges can be recycled by sending them in the internal mail to the mailroom.

How to place orders

Orders can be made through Griffith Marketplace using Speedtype and Class. To do so, submit a PeopleSoft Access request form and check the "web requester" box.

Orders will take up to 5 days to be delivered after being processed by Griffith Marketplace. They will be delivered directly to the recipient on completion, or if the recipient is unavailable, a card will be left with the redirected location.

Orders over $300 will require financial approval. If your request is urgent, ensure you have flagged it with your financial approver to prevent delays.

If you require a custom print solution not available on the catalogue, you can request a quote.

Premium paper supplies are available from Griffith's stationery supplier, Winc. Refill staple cartridges can be sourced from MediaForm Pty Ltd.

How to order

Orders can be made through Griffith Marketplace through My Finance Page. You will need a Speedtype and Class to order. You will need to have Web Requestor Access to be able to make a purchase. If you have not used the Finance system before, you will need to ensure you complete a PeopleSoft Access Request form.

Navigate to Staff Portal > My Staff Page > Reports and System Access > System Access > PeopleSoft Access Request

1. Log in to Staff Portal > My Finance Page

2. Click Purchases and Payments > Make and Manage Purchases > Griffith Marketplace

3. Select CPX Printing and Logistics > Griffith Roundtrip
