Modernising Griffith's printer fleet

The majority of Griffith's multi-function device (MFD) fleet are in the process of being replaced with 275 new Canon MFDs across all campuses, ensuring staff and students have access to modern and fit-for-purpose printing, scanning and copying solutions.

Deploying modern MFDs

The existing MFD fleet is end-of-life and prone to maintenance issues.

Streamlining fleet

Printing demand has dropped significantly: annual volumes have reduced by 66%.

Optimising MFD locations

Revised locations are informed by device usage analysis and industry standards.

Reducing consumption

Streamlining the MFD fleet to reduce excess energy consumption.

Improving security

Reducing security risks by removing end-of-life unmanaged printers from the network.
