At the very bottom of this page you will find the button: REGISTER NOW (which will become active on/from the 01st of July 2019).  

However, before you commence your registration please note the following:

  1. In the case of any difficulty encountered during registration please contact the Conference General Chair, Professor Emeritus Ljubo Vlacic, via   l.vlacic@griffith.edu.au or +61 417 633 501.
  2. Please have your credit card with you, ready to use.  Only Master and Visa credit/debit cards are accepted.
  3. Please do not use JCB credit card as it is not accepted at this time although the Credit Card Payment page will state that it is ok to use JCB credit card
  4. Please do not use special characters in name or address field as the payment system will not accept them. These characters are often called “diacritics” and are defined in the Dictionary as “a sign, such as an accent or cedilla, which when written above or below a letter indicates a difference in pronunciation from the same letter when unmarked or differently marked.”
  5. An Invoice (Order Receipt) confirming your payment will be issued at the end of the registration payment process. This Invoice can also be used in support to your Visa application, should you need it. The Invoice will be issued by Griffith University’s Payment processing system “GriffithPay” (fin-griffithpay@griffith.edu.au). Your credit card will be charged in Australian dollars.
  6. After your registration payment is processed, and deemed to be correct, you can request the Paper Voucher Code and you will receive a Voucher Code within the following 24-48 hours.   8. International participants are obliged to make themselves fully aware of the health and visa entry requirements as prescribed by the New Zealand Government. Further details can be obtained from TRAVEL → VISA menu heading at https://www.itsc2019.org/visa
  9. In the case that an applicant is not granted the New Zealand Entry Visa, the ITSC2019 Organiser accepts no responsibility in any respect.
  10. To protect New Zealand and its environment, certain items are not allowed to be brought into the country, have restrictions for entry, or must be declared if they are deemed to present a biosecurity risk. Registration Procedure

  1. On-line Registration will commence on 01 July 2019. To register, please have ready:
    • Your Visa/Master Credit or Debit card details; please note that only these cards are accepted by the registration server; and
    • Your Paper ID (i.e. a number of each accepted paper), earlier issued by PaperPlaza (and you now wish to upload its/their final versions).
  2. Before you proceed with payment of the registration fees, you are strongly encouraged to read the Registration Policy Notes below.
  3. Please pay your registration fee first. Then, request Paper Voucher Code and allow for a minimum of 24-48 hours to pass after you have paid your registration fee(s) in order to receive a Voucher Code for each of your accepted papers which will let you upload final versions of your accepted papers to PaperPlaza.   5. Please note that the paper upload submission deadline is 15 July 2019. Thus, please consider registering for the conference as early as from 01 July 2019 and no later than on the 13th of July 2019, if possible, to be able to upload the paper before the deadline.   7. All registration fees are listed in Australian dollars ($AUD). Your credit card will be charged in Australian dollars. For up-to-date information on foreign currency exchange rates please visit https://www1.oanda.com/currency/converter/
  8. Participants will not be charged New Zealand GST (the Goods and Services Tax) after the selected registration fee amount is paid in full. Your credit card will be charged in Australian dollars ($AUD).  However, your bank may add to it their service fee(s).

Registration Policy Notes

  1. A Paper Upload: The Symposium Full Registration fee must be paid first to enable the upload of your main paper. One Full Registration allows the upload of one paper.
  2. Any paper co-author is entitled to pay a full registration fee and thus have the paper published in Xplore and attend the Conference.
  3. An Additional Paper Upload Fee: An additional paper can be uploaded for an additional fee. For fee details, please consult the Registration Fees Table below. Thus, by this policy, the 2nd accepted paper is considered as an additional paper for which an upload fee must be paid.
  4. Page Limit: Six pages are included in the paper registration fee. The maximum of two extra pages is allowed. For fee details, please consult the Registration Fees Table below.
  5. No Day Registration is available
  6. Registration & Payment Method: On-line registration & on-line credit/debit card payment is the only registration & payment method available. No internet banking nor EFT (wire transfer) is available.
  7. On-Site Registration: If made available, the on-site registration will be by way of submitting an on-line registration form and paying the total amount of the registration fee by using a visa/master credit card. No on-site cash payment will be available at the registration desk.
  8. Student Registration: A single student registration does not allow the paper upload.
    Please provide an appropriate student proof (ID, letter of confirmation) to the registration desk. The Conference Organiser reserves the right to check for student proof during your on-site registration.
  9. Credit Cards Types: Visa and Master Credit/Debit Cards will only be accepted.
  10. A Tax Invoice: An Invoice (Order Receipt) will be emailed once your registration is processed. This Invoice can be used in support to your Visa application.
  11. Registration Fee Details: All fees are listed in Australian dollars ($AUD).

  13.   15. No-show Papers: Papers that are not presented at the conference are very disruptive to a conference. Any accepted paper that is not presented at this conference is at risk for not being published as part of the conference proceedings. If the primary author is unable to attend, please arrange a co-author to present the paper.
  16. Refund Policy: Any cancellation is associated with significant costs to the conference organisers and might conflict with the paper submission policy. For these reasons, following fees and rules will apply for any cancellation of the registration, or any other items, purchased through the ITSC 2019 On-Line Registration Fee Payment Process.
  • For any cancellation, a handling fee of 10% of the cancelled service will apply, and in addition:
    1. Cancellation from and after 15 July but before 30 July 2019 – 50% of the paid registration amount will be forfeited
    2. Cancellation from and after 30 July 2019 – 100% of the paid registration amount will be forfeited.
  • Any refund request is subject to this Cancellation Policy.
  • The approval of your refund request will automatically remove your paper from the Conference Program unless it is due to the sudden change of personal medical conditions, family bereavement, and alike. In such cases an evidence of the reason should be provided.

Limitation of Liability

The ITSC 2019 reserves itself the right to cancel ITSC 2019 without notice or compensation in the event of any delay, default, failure or cancellation of implementation of any deliverable to or for the ITSC 2019 which has been caused, directly or indirectly, by any incident of “force majeure”.

For the purposes hereof, the term “force majeure” shall include but not be limited to the following:

  • Any act of nature such as fire, earthquake, hurricane, flood or adverse weather conditions;
  • Any war, conflict, strike, or other action of any kind;
  • Unavoidable breakdown or destruction of facilities or equipment including Power failure;
  • Any failure of the ITSC2019 service provider to fully carry out their obligation towards the ITSC 2019 Organiser;
  • Terrorist attack and/or a Cyber attack;
  • Promulgation of any relevant legislation or regulation by local or national governments;
  • Any occurrence of any nature which renders it reasonably necessary for the ITSC 2019 Organiser to cancel the ITSC 2019 conference.

In such cases, the ITSC 2019 Conference Organiser is freed of all responsibility and shall only be obliged to reimburse the payments received subject to deduction of any costs it has incurred in preparing the event and processing registration fee payments. This limited liability only extends to the payments made directly to the ITSC 2019 and not to payments made by the attendees to the hotel or airlines.

To obtain the “Paper Voucher Code” you will need to:

  1. Come back to this point and then click on “OBTAIN PAPER VOUCHER CODE” below
  2. You should have with you ready details of the “Invoice number” (i.e. Order Number”) which will be issued by GriffithPay system immediately after you successfully complete the registration fee payment (as explained above); GriffithPay will send you an email (from “fin-griffithpay@griffith.edu.au “) which will contain such an information.
  3. Please note that a Paper Voucher Code is issued per one paper. Therefore, you will need to click the button multiple times if you wish to obtain the approval to upload more than one paper.
  4. If you paid the upload fee for all your papers altogether by submitting the only one payment to GriffithPay at once, then you will have to use the same GriffithPay Order Number for all selected Paper Voucher Code request.
