Pathway advice for your students
At Griffith we have a long tradition of recognising the skills and knowledge gained through Vocational Education and Training (VET) as a highly effective pathway to university.
Our VET Guaranteed Admission Scheme recognises students capabilities and guarantees entry to a set of our undergraduate degrees that build on their vocational skills if they have completed Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma level study. Look out for the badge on our degree finder to find out if the degree is part of the scheme.

Our mature student team can deliver an online live presentation to get students thinking about pathways their qualification can lead to. Presentation topics cover core areas such as credit, careers, key dates, and can be changed to suit your academic area.

TAFE direct admission pathways
The TAFE Admission Pathway awards TAFE Diploma and Advanced Diploma graduates a competitive Selection Rank and direct admission into a range of Griffith degrees. With TAFE Queensland, Griffith also offers a range of dual TAFE diploma/Griffith degree qualifications.
Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation
Successful completion of the Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation from TAFE Queensland is an excellent admission pathway to a range of Griffith degrees. You can also undertake specific modules to meet subject prerequisite requirements.

Applying to Griffith University as a TAFE or VET graduate
We will continue to accept stand-alone Vocation Education and Training qualifications completed at high school, private providers and TAFE Institutes for admission.
Credit
