Across Australia, you can find dedicated spaces to support you as you undertake online university study, placements and internships.
These hubs offer opportunities to connect with other students and provide access to essential resources like quiet study areas, high-speed internet, computers, printers, meeting rooms, and communal spaces. A range of foundations and businesses provide scholarships to assist university students from regional and remote areas, especially those facing financial challenges or other difficulties.
Entry pathways and extra support
Depending on your background, study history and school results, there are a range of different pathways you can use to enter university and enrol in your preferred degree,
Guaranteed Admissions Scheme
This scheme helps students apply to study more confidently. It allows students who meet minimum ATAR thresholds, or have completed a VET Certificate III or above, guaranteed admission to a range of degrees.
Bridging and enabling programs
These programs offer an admission pathway if you lack the qualifications for undergraduate study. They can help fill gaps in your knowledge and meet the entry requirements for your degree.
Rural Priority Access Scheme
If you’ve lived in a regional or remote area for at least five years, you may be eligible for a priority place in one of our dentistry or medicine degrees.
