INTERVIEWING CHILDREN: A SKILLS-BASED COURSE FOR A RANGE OF PROFESSIONALS
This self-paced course is the culmination of over 10 years research and development by Griffith University’s Centre for Investigative Interviewing. The course is practical and interactive in nature. It focuses on the questioning strategies needed to: build rapport, encourage disclosures, keep the child talking (and steer them to important details), and minimise error while making the interview as stress-free as possible. Activities are tailored to suit individual enrollees’ work contexts. A certificate is provided on completion.
