Griffith Law School Vis Moot Competition in Vienna

Built on practical experience

Griffith Law School degrees are built on practical experience from first year, so you'll be welcomed into the profession from the start and graduate with an in-depth knowledge of legal principles, plus the critical practical skills for a rewarding legal career. You'll gain extensive hands-on experience through local, national and international moots, court visits, industry networking, and legal clinics, working on real cases and policy issues. The Griffith Legal Clinic Program offers one of the broadest ranges of clinical placement options for an Australian law school, and includes the Innocence Project.

Flexible Study

We offer the flexibility of studying in person at one of our campuses, online through our digital campus, part-time or full-time, over two or three trimesters each year. This may help you to better manage your study with existing commitments such as work and family, noting that classes may be scheduled during business hours, whether in person or online.

Challenge the rules

Abiding by laws, regulations and rules is central to a lawyer's way of thinking. But at Griffith, we understand the power of law and know that sometimes you need to challenge the rules, to break them apart and put them back together. We ensure our students don't only understand the law, but have the knowledge and skills to challenge it.

Networks and connections

Our Griffith Law School community opens doors that lead you to your future career. Our global network of graduates are leaders in a variety of sectors and regularly coach students for moots, offer career advice, and provide internships in their workplaces. At Griffith Law School you can also build your networks with a cross-section of the legal community at regular events. Throughout your degree, our industry liaison and graduate placement officer will help you identify your career goals and ensure your law degree will take you where you want to go.

Griffith Law School also has two very active student associations. These student associations support law students in all aspects of their academic, personal and professional development.
