Explore your on-campus, homestay and rental accommodation options
Whether you would like to live on-campus or off-campus, there are a number of options you can explore to find housing to suit your needs. You can also choose homestay and live with a local Australian family while you study.
What to book
We recommend you organise temporary accommodation for your first few days or weeks in Queensland. This will give you time to inspect and organise your long-term accommodation after you arrive in Australia, to ensure you are choosing a living and study environment that suits your needs.
1. Temporary accommodation
Before you leave home, book accommodation for your first few nights in Australia.
2. Airport pickup
Book your airport transfer at least 72 hours before you leave.
3. Long-term accommodation
Choose where to live long-term and find a place that feels like home.
Temporary on-campus accommodation is available until the end of Orientation Week at Mt Gravatt and Nathan campuses. Places are limited so book early to avoid missing out.
There are many hotels and motels located near each of our campuses that are easily accessible by public transport. When booking accommodation let the staff know you are a Griffith University student as they may offer a discounted student rate. The following websites provide a range of accommodation options in the Brisbane and Gold Coast areas.

It is available from both the Brisbane and the Gold Coast (known as Coolangatta Airport) airports. We recommend that you book this service online at least 72 hours before you leave.
