Our team of highly experienced International Student Advisors can assist with many of the situations you may be facing as a student living  and studying in Queensland. We provide clear, timely and accurate advice,  empowering you to make the most of your international student  experience and achieve academic success. If you need extra information or  support, make an in-person, phone, or video appointment for confidential  one-on-one guidance.

Drop-In Sessions

You can ask a 'quick question' of the International Student Advisors to help you work through your enrolment needs.

  • Drop-in sessions are available between 10 am and 12 pm daily during Weeks 1-4.
  • Drop-in sessions are available between 10 am and 12 pm on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Week 5 onwards.

If your question requires longer than 5-10 minutes then an appointment will be scheduled for you at this consultation.

International Student Advisor Appointments

Standard appointment times with an Advisor are 30 minutes. You can choose to meet with an International Student Advisor in person (on campus), by phone appointment or through video consultation.

Time: Your appointments will be lodged against a time that you choose at your convenience.

  • An in-person (on campus) meeting will require you to present to the Advisory and the location will be confirmed in your booking.
  • An International Student Advisor will contact you for phone or video meetings at the designated meeting time.

Phone number: Please provide the phone number that our that our ISA can call you for your consultation.

  • If you are outside of Australia please provide the full number including your country calling codes.
  • When you are booking your appointment it will allocate a time to you in your local timezone, however you will be contacted at that time in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).  This may result in your phone or video call being earlier or later than you anticipate so please be prepared for a wider timeframe of being contacted.
  • If you would prefer to have a meeting with video calling then please provide your email address or Skype profile so that you can be called using this method as well as a phone number.
