The Research Excellence, Performance and Systems team provides advice and data to a range of internal and external stakeholders of the University
We are research performance specialists responsible for government submissions such as the ARC Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) and Engagement and Impact Assessment, and the Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC). We collect, manage and report on the University’s research outputs and work in collaboration with other units on internal and external reporting and analytics of Griffith's research data.
The team also manages the annual process to review research centres and institutes as well as the guidance around export control permit applications as part of the strengthened export controls program by the Australian Department of Defence.

Research Data and Reporting team
The Research Data and Reporting team plays a critical role in supporting the University’s research ecosystem. We manage and maintain key research administration systems and ensure the integrity of research administration data, enabling efficient processes and accurate reporting. Through close collaboration with the Library and Digital Solutions, we deliver systems and services that enhance the overall researcher experience.

Research Performance and Impact team
The Research Performance and Impact team delivers the university's core research analytics, managing submissions for global university rankings and government reporting like HERDC. The team provide strategic performance analyses to Griffith groups, schools, departments and research entities and builds the University's capacity for research impact.
