Research Grants Support
The Research Grants staff are divided across six teams that work together to support Griffith's academic researchers across the full life cycle of securing and managing funding. The teams report to the Deputy Director Research Services, Lynette Farquhar (l.farquhar@griffith.edu.au) and are managed by Senior Manager, Research Grants, Kate Swanson (k.swanson@griffith.edu.au).
Preaward team
The Preaward team support academic staff in preparing and submitting compliant, eligible applications to a wide range of competitive, peer-reviewed research funding opportunities.

Research Development Support
The Senior Research Development Officers within each of Griffith's Academic Groups or the Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics (IBG) work with researchers to identify suitable funding schemes and develop competitive, high-quality grant applications.
The Senior Research Development Officers are each assigned to support an Academic Group or the IBG and report to the Deputy Director Research Services, Office for Research Lynette Farquhar (l.farquhar@griffith.edu.au).
