Health IDEAS

The mission of Health IDEAS is to establish the Health Group as a leader in health professional learning and teaching and clinical education. The strategic intention of Health IDEAS is to significantly increase the Health Group’s capacity to deliver quality learning and teaching outcomes. Health IDEAS will enable the Group to focus its change strategy, draw on consolidated resources and expertise to establish sustainable mechanisms for learning and teaching enhancement and provide a visible point of reference for staff.

Foundation year

Many Griffith Health programs share a common Foundation Year of study, allowing you to work in multi-disciplinary teams. The Foundation Year provides you with flexibility if you are unsure about which discipline you would like to study. The Griffith Health Foundation Year consists of a suite of first year courses developed around the shared knowledge underpinning these undergraduate programs.

Academic titles

Full academic titles are available to health and medical professionals who make a significant and sustained contribution to Griffith's teaching, research and/or service activities. Academic titleholders receive a title that recognises their level of experience and expertise, and enjoy a range of other benefits including access to the University’s extensive library and information technology facilities.
