Supporting our students
‘Griffith’s support services made my transition to Australia and its culture very smooth as help was always available as soon as I needed it. I clearly remember being worried about the different education style in Australia, especially referencing, but so many resources were available to guide me through it.’
Aayushi Gaur Master of Global Public Health

World-wide Trends
Ageing and growing populations, greater prevalence of chronic diseases, exponential advances in innovative, but costly, digital technologies—these and other developments continue to increase health care demand and expenditures.
Deloitte's 2019 Global Health Care Outlook projects global health care spending to increase dramatically, reaching over $10 trillion by 2022. Growth has risen exponentially since 2013:
| 2013-2017 | 2018-2022 |
|---|---|
| 2.9% | 5.4% |
Health care spending in the next year will be primarily driven by:
- aging and growing populations
- developing market expansion
- clinical and technology advances
- rising labour costs
