ARCHE Conference Support Scheme

The ARCHE Conference Support Scheme offers financial support to student members, who will be representing ARCHE at national or international conferences, workshops or symposiums.

Eligible students can apply for up to $750 support for national conferences and up to $2000 support for international conferences.

The Taffy Gould Prize in Human Origins

The Taffy Gould Prize in Human Origins awards a $1,000 gift to an ARCHE individual researcher or research team for the best publication in the field of human origins each calendar year. This prize aims to foster innovative research which focuses on the evolution of hominin biology, cognition, behaviour, and/or technologies.

Submissions may include Honours, Masters, or PhD theses, presented academic posters, or publications in the form of journal articles, book chapters, or books.

To be considered for the prize, the applicant/s must be an ARCHE-aligned student or staff member and preference will be given to Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates and Early Career Researchers (ECRs).
