2. Check admission requirements
Check the detailed admission requirements for your chosen degree via the Degree Finder. Make sure to check what supporting documents you need to provide with your application. Incorrectly filling in your application or not providing all of your supporting documentation will delay assessment of your application and result in a longer wait for a decision.
Contact us
You can contact or our study advisers on 1800 677 728, for help with your application and clarification of admission requirements.
3. Search our scholarships
We offer scholarships for high academic achievers, those experiencing financial disadvantage and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. See our scholarships to find out if you’re eligible and to apply.
4. Submit your application online
You can apply via the Degree Finder. The application form allows you to choose three preferences.
Closing dates for applications vary between degrees, so make sure you check the details for your chosen degree. The online application form will prompt you to provide specific items required and contains a checklist of supporting documents you’ll need to submit. You will receive emails during the process prompting you to complete your application and you’ll be able to track its progress.
5. Track your application
Once you have submitted your application online, you will be able to track your application's progress. To find out what your status means, as well as key processing timelines, visit track your application.
6. Accept your offer and enrol
Once your application has been assessed, you’ll be notified of the outcome by email. You’ll receive advice on how to enrol in your offer email. We recommend enrolling as soon as possible so you can select your classes and create a timetable.
For some programs you will be required to either complete the Pre-enrolment Questionnaire and/or enrol within a short timeframe in order to secure your place, or your offer will lapse. Lapsed offers are not reinstated. These details are included in your Starting@Griffith email if it is a requirement for your program.
Unique Student Identifier
All Griffith students require a Unique Student Identifier in order to be eligible for a Commonwealth supported place and Commonwealth financial assistance (HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP or OS-HELP). If you're commencing a new program at Griffith, you will need to obtain a USI (or locate your existing USI) and provide it via the Pre-enrolment Questionnaire before your first census date. For further information visit Unique-Student Identifier.
Apply for Credit
Students with an offer of admission who have received the Starting@Griffith email can apply for credit for prior formal, informal or non-formal learning by submitting an online credit application. Applications for credit may be lodged at any time; however, an application for credit will not be accepted for a course(s) a student is enrolled in if the census date has already passed. It is far better to have your credit determined prior to the commencement of teaching as it may impact on which courses you enrol in.
