Secure your place at Griffith by completing these steps
Responding to offers
If you've applied for a program via QTAC, you will receive an offer that you will need to respond to before the final deadline.
You will need to log back into your QTAC application and respond to your offer there. To respond to your offer, log in to Application services and select your response option (i.e. Accept, Defer, Decline - if deferment is an available choice) button. For more information on responding to offers, visit Responding to Offers on the QTAC website.
If you applied directly to Griffith or via UAC, you do not need to formally accept an offer, and should proceed to the next step.
Your Starting@Griffith email
Once you've been offered a place in a program at Griffith, you'll receive a Welcome to Griffith email called Starting@Griffith. This email includes your Griffith Student ID and access to our student portal, myGriffith.
When you log into myGriffith, you will be able to manage your enrolment, complete your Orientation, and see all other information relevant to your degree.
Pre-enrolment questionnaire and tasks
When you click on Manage Enrolment, you will be asked to complete a pre-enrolment questionnaire (PEQ) if you're enrolling for the first time or changing your program. The purpose of the questionnaire is to collect your personal details, including your Unique Student Identifier (USI). You must complete this step. If you're eligible, you'll have the opportunity to apply for a government loan/s to defer your tuition fees and charges.
If your offer is for a future trimester, enrolment may not open until later, but you can still complete pre-enrolment tasks like your USI and ID card.
Enrol before the final deadline to secure your place
Start your enrolment preparations by looking at Griffith’s academic calendar and key dates on our website.
Enrol into at least one class* or your offer may lapse. If you have a credit application, don't wait for it to be approved - you can amend your enrolment later if you need to.

Important offer advice
These programs are quota managed as there are a limited number of places available to ensure that sufficient resources are available to support the students.
To secure your place into these competitive or quota-managed programs, you must enrol into at least one class via myGriffith no later than 5.00pm AEST on your offer lapse date. This applies whether you have accepted your offer conditionally or unconditionally through QTAC.
If you do not enrol in at least one class by the deadline, your offer will lapse. Lapsed offers are not automatically reinstated, and reinstatement is subject to availability. To complete your enrolment:
- Go to myGriffith.
- Login and navigate to myOrientation to finalise your class enrolment.
Note: Enrolling means formally advising Griffith University which class(es) you will attend. Enrolment must be submitted via myGriffith.
If you need assistance with enrolment, please contact us before the deadline.
Apply for credit, recognition of prior learning and scholarships
Credit for prior learning may reduce your study time. Learn about credit types, how to apply, and view examples of past credit decisions. Visit Credit Transfer for information on what this means and how to apply for credit.
At Griffith, we believe that everyone's experiences and talents are valuable - scholarships offer financial support and access to networking, mentoring, and skill-building. No matter where you've come from or where you hope to be, a scholarship could make the difference. Visit Scholarships for further information on the scholarships application process.
Plan your O-Week
Orientation provides opportunities to make new friends and find out what to expect as a Griffith student.
Our orientation journey is made up of five themes: Access, Connection, Belonging, Purpose and Wellbeing. You can take a personalised tour through this information with myOrientation, which is available until your first census date. You can also return here at anytime to revisit these themes.
Make the most of orientation with the Orientation Planner, your personalised itinerary of O-Week events. The Orientation Planner is where you'll find information on:
- welcome sessions
- skills workshops
- social events to meet staff and students
- tours to explore the university.
