Academic Committee provides advice to the Council on the University's academic planning activities, policies and procedures.
Academic Committee provides advice to Council on:
- Proposals for new organisational structures for academic activities including the creation of schools/departments, centres, units, committees and boards
- Proposals for the development of new academic policies and procedures; and
- Proposals which affect the conduct, assessment and enhancement of teaching and research.
The role and function of Academic Committee is set out in the Academic Committee Constitution.
