The Tourism Confucius Institute offers a number of support programs to students, scholars and Chinese language teachers who are pursuing advanced Chinese-related degrees at a Chinese university.

Successful Griffith University students completing courses at a Chinese university will gain credit from Griffith after receiving approval from their program director.

Scholarships for young Australians studying in China

In order to support development of Confucius Institutes, facilitate Chinese language promotion and Chinese cultural transmission in the world, and cultivate qualified Chinese language teachers and talented students of the Chinese language, the Confucius Institute Headquarters has launched the Confucius Institute scholarships program. This program helps students, scholars and Chinese language teachers from other countries pursue study in relevant Chinese universities.

Confucius China Study Plan (research/academic)

The Confucius Institute headquarters has set up the Confucius China Study Plan. This scheme is designed to foster a deeper understanding of China and the Chinese culture among young elite students around the world, enhance the prosperous growth of China studies and promote the sustainable development of Confucius Institutes and friendly relationships between China and other nationalities.
