We have sports fields across three of our campuses
Logan, Brisbane South (Mt Gravatt) and Brisbane South (Nathan) have sports fields suitable for a variety of outdoor sports.
Each facility provides opportunities for a range of sporting activities to be conducted with, flood lighting for night time bookings, bathroom and changeroom facilites, goal posts and more. Check out the options avialable to choose a venue that will suit your booking needs. Further information, hiring procedures and pricing details are below.
Event hire is also available at each facility. Please enquire regarding large or special activity bookings, additional terms and conditions apply to Event bookings.

Campus Sports Fields
Brisbane South (Nathan) - Field 1
NRL / Soccer Size Field
Suitable for training and match play, floodlit for evening and night games. Field is configured with inbuilt NRL posts and portable full sized soccer goals. 2 Mini-fields are available for hire each with a set of 3x2m soccer goals. Home and away change rooms available, please enquire regarding current field marking configerations. Competition bookings available by request. Event hire available by request (conditions apply).
Brisbane South (Nathan) - Field 2
AFL Size Field
Suitable for training only, floodlit for evening and night activities. Field is configured with inbuilt AFL posts and perimeter fence. 3 Mini-fields are available for hire each with a set of 3x2m soccer goals. Home and away change rooms available, please enquire regarding current field marking configerations. Event hire available by request (conditions apply).
Brisbane South (Mt Gravatt)
Soccer Size Field
Suitable for training and match play, floodlit for evening and night games. Field is configured with inbuilt multi purpose posts for NRL and Soccer goals. Please enquire regarding current field marking configerations. Competition bookings available by request. Event hire available by request (conditions apply).
Logan - Field 1
NRL Size Field
Suitable for training and match play, floodlit for evening and night games. Field is configured with inbuilt NRL posts. Logan Field 2
Soccer Size Field
Suitable for training and day usage, field is unavailable for evening and night bookings. Field is configured with inbuilt full sized soccer goals. All current Griffith Students are eligible for discount facility hire fees at this venue. To be eligible for the discount please show your valid student card at any Griffith Sport facility reception to activate this perk of being a Griffith Student for the calendar year. *Fair use Terms & Conditions apply.
Hiring procedure
To hire a Griffith University recreation facility, simply create your online account via the Sporthub and book your session online.
Step one - create your account
To create your account please visit sporthub.griffith.edu.au and follow the prompts to create an account.

Step two - make your booking
Once your account is created, please go to Bookings and then the booking process is as follows:
- From the dropdown, choose the booking type
- For some facilities with multiple courts/fields, you’ll need to select Number of Spaces. This would generally be one. Eg. 1 space = 1 court
- Enter your estimated group size.
- Select a Timeslot by clicking and dragging the time period (or a long swipe if on a mobile device). Available booking timeslots are highlighted in green. Use the date navigation arrows and scroll up and down for desired times. Remember the minimum notice period which could be between 12 hours and 3 days in advance of the date you would like to book depending on facility.
- Your booking information then populates, if correct then select Add to Cart
- Once the booking is in the cart, payment will need to be made.
- Complete your purchase by paying with Ezidebit and continue through payment steps
- Once payment has been successfully made, a booking summary will appear and will remain in the members online account until after the booking
