When you study online at Griffith you will become familiar with online learning platforms and programs that are designed for online collaboration. This is your opportunity to enhance your digital collaboration skills and grow your confidence and capabilities working online, a key skill for the jobs of the future.
The online learning environment is called Learning@Griffith, where we provide a website for every course, containing all of the learning materials you will need to successfully complete your studies.
Depending on how your course is structured you will have a combination of recorded lectures, tutorials, discussions, and possibly online group work and activities.
You are able to interact with your classmates and teachers through the live classrooms and discussion boards, as well as a range of social media.
Using the Microsoft Teams platform that is free for all Griffith students, you will be able to connect with fellow commencing students from the same study area.
All your assessment will also be delivered and submitted online. How your assessments are managed will depend on your program's requirements.
Returning to on-campus learning
When we are able to safely return to campus, on-campus teaching will recommence. We understand that it will take longer for international students to arrive in Australia and join in on-campus learning, so online teaching will continue with enough time to allow students to arrive onshore in sunny Queensland. We are excited to meet you on campus and help you transition to life in Australia and support you to have a successful journey at university - we’re with you all the way.

I don't think there is much difference between face-to-face studying and online, because Griffith facilitates us with advanced online technology...Griffith also provides us with a lot of support such as online counselling and well being, online health service, and online chaplaincy.
