Partnerships and collaboration are essential to drug discovery and development

GRIDD partners widely with industry, not-for-profit organisations and government. We also collaborate with fellow researchers and maintain strong ties with our community.

If you would like to partner with us, or tap into our research expertise, facilities or services, contact us to explore the options. We warmly welcome enquiries from potential new partners.

Industry, not-for-profit and government partnerships

We are grateful to our current partners and supporters including AEGIUM, Cancer Therapeutics CRC, the Clem Jones Foundation, GHIT-Japan,  Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV), Parkinson’s Queensland, Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation, and the Queensland and Australian Government. Our Institute’s research leaders include scientists with academic and industry experience. We recognise this diversity is important to find solutions to complex conditions like cancer, Parkinson’s disease and infectious diseases.

Collaboration with fellow researchers and clinicians

No single discipline or researcher can hope to address alone the complex work needed to discover new drugs that target devastating human disease. Extensive collaboration is needed to leverage our cutting-edge research across many disciplines, and around the world. Our collaborators include chemists, biologists, microbiologists, clinicians and data analysts.

Community connections

We maintain strong ties with the community, with donations helping us in our search for new treatments for cancer, malaria, tuberculosis, antibiotic resistance and spinal cord injury. We also welcome visitors to GRIDD. Tours of our exceptional drug discovery facilities are arranged on a regular basis. You can also keep up to date with what’s happening at GRIDD and join our virtual community via our Facebook and Twitter.
