Partnership with Mt Gravatt AFC. Women's and men's teams compete in the QAFL competition and also enter Nationals.

Badminton Club - The Monkeys

Club players train weekly and are a mix of ages and skills, from beginners to competitive levels. Men's and women's teams enter in external tournaments as well as the Nationals.

Baseball Club - The Bears

The club trains weekly both on field and in the batting cages. They play in the SQWBL from May to August

Basketball Club - The Gators

The club holds weekly scrimmages on campus and enter teams into the on campus social sport competition. Club also enter various Men's and Women's external competitions and tournaments as well as a team into the Nationals

Blurrr Club

Blurrr Club is a photographic club open to all students. Facilitating great opportunities in furthering your photographic skills and aiding future creative careers.

Books, Reading and Writing Griffith Society

BRAWGS is the Books, Reading, And Writing Griffith Society where we have likeminded people discussing everything from prose and poetry to creative writing. We offer a range of events such as book clubs, creative writing workshops, books swaps, and open mic nights (where there are prizes to be won). Joining these events requires a $10 membership fee, however, one month free trials go to new members who want to attend events before signing up. We welcome everyone who wants to grow their creative writing skills and discuss diverse books with other book lovers.

Bug Union of Griffith

BUG is primarily a special interest-based club but also has a focus on Academic study is Community Focused. We educate people about bugs, and how important they are to the ecosystem. We conduct studies in the Toohey Forest about the local bug populations and Fire Ant awareness. We help teach our members how to identify bugs that people may want to know, get get out members out into the forrest and connect them with nature.

Campus Christian Movement Griffith

Campus Christian Movement is a multi-cultural student group that builds genuine friendships, shares life, loves God and people. At the very heart of Campus Christian Movement, our passion is to see students on campus to discover more about God, faith and spirituality. Each Friday night we have dinner, games, songs, fellowship and a Bible-based discussion. It's also a place where people can grow through training, serving and mentoring.

Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art Collective

The Contemporary AustralianIndigenous Art Collective provide an avenue for Australian Indigenous Artists to create, showcase, and sell their artwork. We give Australian and Torres Strait Islander artists the opportunity to gain experience in applying for, planning, curating, and delivering artistic events. We aim to educate staff, students and the wider community on correct cultural protocols in the context of visual art.

Cultural Society of India, Griffith

Griffith Journal

An online student paper aimed to stimulate a newsroom-like environment for students who want to explore newswriting and publishing. This includes but not limited to journalists, creative arts, law, business, and political science students. It is written for Griffith university students and others as our tagline states, “Your Campus, Your Story,” and “By the Students, For the Students.” We aim to foster a sense of community, collaborative work, and encourage creativity. The goal is to offer the experiences of these aims to help build their confidence, resume, and portfolio.

Griffith Languages Club

Provide language learners and native speakers opportunities to converse in their target languages. Promote the creation of a network between students from different levels and disciplines. Provide educational tools that help people to increase cultural awareness either when travelling to their desired countries or in their home land. Promote multilingualism and its benefits.

Griffith Medical Science Society

GMED aims to create a supportive and inclusive environment that brings together first and second-year medical science students through social events, mentorship opportunities and collaborative projects, promoting a sense of belonging. We promote the physical and mental wellbeing of students by organising recreational activities such as board game nights and sports events, to provide a balance approach to student life beyond academic pressures. We support academic excellence by offering structured study sessions, providing access to reserved study spaces and organising group study events where students can collaborate, share knowledge and prepare for assessment together.

Griffith Plein Air Club

GPAC is a club centered around the art of "plein air", a french term for the act of drawing outdoors. This club is aimed towards visual arts students with an interest in landscape painting; animation, games, and film students interested in environment design and background painting; and Griffith students of any discipline wanting to get in touch with nature. This club is mostly academic in nature, creating an environment for students to practice skills that will benefit them in classes like 2690QCA--Painting and Observation, and 3302GFS--Concept Design: Environments, as well as teaching skills they will carry past graduation as working artists. Griffith ENACTUS formed after the discovery that a large proportion of Griffith University students wanted to volunteer, but did not know how. We are working to fix this issue by providing students with a platform for volunteering on local, national, and international levels.

Griffith University Papua New Guinea Student Association

Welcome to the Griffith University Papua New Guinea Students Association (GUPNGSA). We are a club that celebrates the unique cultures of Papua New Guinea through different events that we host throughout the year.

GUPNGSA encourages a sense of community and belonging to our fellow members and assisting them where we can and to make sure they get the best out of their university experience. Socialist Alternative is Australia’s largest Marxist revolutionary group, with clubs at universities across the country. GUTS welcomes new performing arts students into Griffith campus, degrees, and Brisbane. We provide students of the Southbank Griffith University campus with access to amateur theatrical productions of which they can perform in, produce and watch.

We are a passionate and friendly student club at Griffith's Nathan campus. Our purpose is to help you balance uni life through the timeless practices of yoga and meditation.

We all know: uni life can be crazy busy. Things can get very stressful. And in all craziness, we often forget to look after ourselves, our bodies, and our minds. We offer regular yoga and meditation classes. But we also host meet-ups, where we travel into nature, do yoga and meditation outside, discuss yoga philosophy, share delicious vegetarian and vegan food, play music and even dance!

Partnership with the Mt Gravatt Hawks FC. The club trains weekly and enters men’s and women’s teams into various QLD leagues as well as Nationals.

Soccer club (student run) - The Lions

The student run social soccer club is another soccer offering for those students who want to play slightly less competitively than Saturday 11-a-side Football Queensland run Competition. They train weekly and enter teams into the Griffith Social sport Competitions (7-a-side and 5-a-side). UniSport Nationals opportunities.

Table Tennis Club - The Gorillas

The club trains weekly on campus with Tuesday evenings being their most regualar open play session. We enter teams into external tournaments and the Nationals.

Tennis Club - The Griffins

The club trains and has social play at the Mt Gravatt Tennis Centre with some free coaching provided throughout the year. They enter Teams into external Tournaments and Nationals.

Volleyball Club - The Raptors

The club trains weekly on Sundays. They enter several Teams into the PVL Competition and the on-campus Social Sport Competition. They play in various one off Tournaments and enter Teams in Nationals.

Cricket Club - The Tigers

The club train weekly down at the Brisbane South (Nathan) Multisport cricket nets, play in Brisbane's Warehouse Cricket Association Competition as well as having the opportunity to compete in the UniSport T20 Standalone Nationals competition.

Powerlifting Club - The Woolly Mammoths

The Powerlifting Club trains weekly at the Nathan Fitness Centre and welcomes lifters of all experience levels. Members lift in a supportive community and receive accredited coaching throughout the year. There are also opportunities to compete in external powerlifting competitions for those interested.
