Certified PASS Supervisor Training
Implementing a PASS Program at your institution requires a Certified Supervisor to lead and manage the Program. Supervisor training can only be delivered by trainers who are certified by the International Centre for Supplemental Instruction at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA.
The Australasian Centre for PASS offers Accredited Supervisor Training on a regular basis throughout the year. Supervisor Training runs over three days and will introduce you to the essential elements of the model and the many factors that influence delivery of a successful PASS Program in the Australasian region.
At completion of training, you will gain access to a range of useful resources and the online Australasian PASS Community of Practice.
Supervisor Training covers topics including:
- PASS in the Australasian context and benefits of the model
- Procedures for selecting suitable courses
- The role of the Supervisor, Academic staff and the Leader
- Selection, training and support of student leaders
- Effective learning strategies and session activities
- Evaluation and funding
