We help you create socially and environmentally responsible designs

Our spatial design studio is a vibrant and collaborative space located within the Queensland College of Art and Design  (QCAD), Griffith University.

We work alongside our clients to create socially and environmentally sustainable designs, focusing on interior environments and product development.

To successfully adapt to a rapidly changing world, our projects have a strong emphasis on material reuse, repurposing, retrofitting and design for disassembly and modification.

Our designers embrace ethical design practices and recognise the importance of integrating social responsibility into their work.

Testimonial

‘The goal of the Brisbane's Bike Lanes project was to introduce the complexity and interdisciplinary nature of public transport design problems and the concept of the “livable city”, particularly as explored in A People-Oriented Vision for Brisbane, the 2009 report commissioned by the Queensland Government from Gehl Architects. It was such a valuable project for all of the students to be involved in and we were so excited that QCA students Kayla Ball and Grace Xia were awarded first prize for their contribution to the project.’
