QCADLive houses a number of professional Visual Art, Photography and Design studios within the Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD), Griffith University.
We offer a dynamic range of creative and commercial services at a commercial rate. Whether you need an illustration, design, mural, sculpture or print, our emerging artists, photographers, and designers will bring your vision to life under the guidance of our expert staff.
Our studios include technical workshops, fully equipped print, jewellery and photography spaces, as well as purpose-built studios for Drawing, Painting, Print, Jewellery, Photography, Sculpture, Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art and Design.
QCADLive also offers a variety of opportunities for the public to get involved in creative practices through short courses, visual art masterclasses and creative technical workshops. You can also secure the creative expertise of QCAD staff through our regional and indigenous engagement programs, and if you’re a high school teacher we also offer and develop teacher PD workshops.
Located at Griffith’s South Bank and Gold Coast campuses, QCADLive also provides a valuable opportunity for students to gain real-life industry experience in their chosen field.

Murals and Public Art Installations
Our emerging artists produce commercial murals and public art installations under the guidance of our expert and experienced staff. We work closely with our clients to deliver professional and sophisticated artwork outcomes. Our clients include individuals and small businesses, to large publicly owned corporations and government bodies.
Professional Design Services
We offer professional graphic design services for your next project. Whether you need a new look and feel for your project or organisation or require a complex publication design, our experienced and skilled designers can bring your vision to life.
Photography and Printing Services
We offer a unique suite of cost-effective commercial services for professional photographers and artists in Australia. Our services include photographic-quality printing, colour management services and photo retouching.
Spatial Design Projects
Our spatial design studio is a vibrant and collaborative space. We work alongside our clients to create socially and environmentally sustainable designs, focusing on interior environments and product development.
Print Collaborations and Editions
Cobalt Editions is the commercial press arm of the QCAD print studios. Our studio invites expert master printers to collaborate with nominated artists to produce significant suites of prints for commercial sale.
Buy and Commission Student Artwork
Are you looking for an original artwork, print, jewellery or custom installation? You can purchase already complete artwork at an affordable rate or have one of our student artists create something unique.
Short courses and QCAD events
We offer a number of short courses and events to the general public, including our QCAD Visual Art Masterclass Series and technical workshops.
