Work in a supportive environment to build your creative portfolio

From 2024 Queensland College of Art and Design will be offering the option of portfolio admission. In this two-day workshop students learnt the do's and don'ts of a successful portfolio.

Students came along to see how they can make a portfolio that expresses their unique creativity. The workshop was tailored to those in Year 10 and above.

Participants chose to work in either Design or Visual Arts and by the end of the workshop:

  • completed at least one piece of work for their creative portfolio
  • understood how to photograph and present their work for maximum impact
  • learnt how to write about their own practice and creativity.

Design portfolio workshops were offered at both the South Bank and Gold Coast Campuses in 2023. The Visual Arts portfolio workshop was only offered at the South Bank Campus.
