Share your 'best practice' case study

As part of Griffith University’s commitment to accessibility and inclusion under the Disability Action Plan, we invite Groups and Elements to submit case studies for inclusion on the accessibility and inclusion website. This website provides a range of resources to assist staff across the University to ensure that their sphere of activity reflects the goals expressed in the Disability Action Plan. By including examples of good practice in accessibility and inclusion, staff can share ideas and explore opportunities to collaborate.

Criteria

In making your submission, you must consider whether your example meets Universal Design principles and practices across the full range of activities at the University and continuously improve access to:

  • the physical environment
  • the learning environment (on-campus, online, includes work integrated learning and/or professional placements)
  • information, the digital environment and technology
  • employment and opportunities for career progression
  • activities and events for the wider community
  • other activities not captured above.

The Disability Advisory Committee will consider all submissions and provide feedback and confirmation on inclusion on the website. Good practice examples will be included on the Accessibility and Inclusion website and promoted to the Griffith University community. Case studies may be edited and consideration given to timing of uploads.
