How do I get a contract signed at Griffith University?

Getting your contract signed is one of the final steps in the contracting process. A complete overview of the contracting process - from initiation through to monitoring contractor performance - can be found in our one page Contracting Process Overview.

Negotiating a contract

If you have been asked to put a new contract in place or renew an existing contract, you should first visit the Contracts Support Centre. That site contains information on the contracting process including:

  • Things to consider before entering a contract
  • How to get help from a Subject Matter Expert
  • Tips for negotiating the contract
  • Seeking approvals and getting the contract ready for signing
  • What to do after the contract has been signed

Additional resources on “contract management” have also been prepared by the Procurement Team.
