Who are eftsure?

Eftsure is a reputable company that manages vendor on-boarding and detail changes for Griffith.

All vendor details are verified by eftsure to ensure that only legitimate information is entered into Griffith's finance system. They further check these details immediately prior to payment ensuring real-time fraud protection.

When a vendor has been verified, there is no delay to vendor payments – it is an easy and seamless process.

The Griffith Cyber Security Team has thoroughly vetted eftsure's systems and processes and vendors can confidently register with eftsure when requested.

How do vendors register with eftsure?

When the Griffith Vendor Maintenance Team are advised that we need to add a new vendor, or change vendor details they contact eftsure and provide them with the vendor email address and an invitation to register/change details is sent to the vendor from eftsure. The email is sent from verifications@vendors.griffith.edu.au and looks like this image:

When a vendor receives this email from this email address, they can confidently click on the link and register/change details with eftsure.

After the vendor has entered their details, vendors with an Australian bank account can expect an eftsure team member to call them on an independently sourced phone number to confirm that the details are correct. The team member may be based in Australia or overseas. If the vendor is unsure about the legitimacy of the call, they can ask the eftsure team member to provide them with some details that the vendor entered during registration, eg BSB number or first few digits of their bank account.

Vendors with an overseas bank account will get a call from the Griffith Vendor Maintenance Team.

Once eftsure have finished the verification process, vendor information is securely passed to Griffith for entry into the Griffith finance system and payments are made to vendors confident that they are being paid to the correct supplier and correct bank account.
