My PhD experience at Griffith

Griffith University PhD candidate Dr Peter Snelling recently published a study in the New England Journal of Medicine that found portable ultrasound devices are an alternative to x-ray machines in children who presented to emergency with suspected distal forearm fractures.

This research forms the basis of Dr Snellings PhD, which was developed under the guidance of experienced researchers at Griffith University and Gold Coast University Hospital.

I hope that this PhD will inspire others to pursue research in the field of point-of-care ultrasound and research in general. I also hope that it will help underpin evidence to help improve patient care with its use
