The Master of Primary Maternity Care is unique. It is the first and currently only postgraduate program in the world that implements the 'Framework for Quality Maternal and Newborn Care" from the Lancet series on midwifery.
Graduates of the program will be leaders in providing woman-centred care within maternity services where every prospective mother can access care from a known midwife.
This online program is ideal for all healthcare practitioners, including midwives, who are wanting to design, implement, and evaluate leading-edge primary maternity care models.

Griffith Master of Primary Maternity Care graduate
On completion of this degree, I was given a leadership role as a practice development midwife, working with midwives within our hospital, students and graduates promoting continuity of care. Without this degree, I wouldn’t be in this position. I’d encourage anyone around the world in maternity services to do this degree, because it’s an amazing way to open up career opportunities for you, it’s linked with international maternity reform, and it will make you stand out from the crowd.
