On-campus experiences
Ambassadors Program
Years 9, 10 and 11
Students will develop a greater understanding of business and government studies, while gaining a better understanding of university life and the many opportunities a career in business offers. Themes will range from the purpose of business, engaging Australia and the Asia-Pacific, why money matters, the future of work, business decision making and grand challenges for business.
Year 11 Careers and Events
For Year 11 students, the program places a stronger emphasis on career exploration, helping them understand the pathways available and the skills needed for success. This includes two specialised sessions:
Careers in Business
Beyond Money: Careers in Accounting, Finance and Economics
These sessions give students the opportunity to hear from experts, explore real-world career options, and start thinking about their future direction as they move towards their final year of school.
In-school experiences
Leaders who matter workshops
We’re excited to share that our Leaders Who Matter program continues to grow, offering a series of dynamic workshops designed to inspire and equip students with essential leadership skills.
These sessions work best with small groups (fewer than 38 students) but can be tailored for larger cohorts, or even adapted into teacher-focused workshops depending on your school’s needs.
Our Schools Program Director, Dr Ryan Gould, will visit your school to deliver these engaging sessions. Book a session/s or discuss possible tailoring options via email gbs-schools@griffith.edu.au
Further details can be found in the flyer, including the topics listed below.
Inspire your economic students! Classroom guest speaker
Looking to spark curiosity and broaden your students' understanding of economics?
Book an engaging guest speaker session that reveals how economics connects with real-world issues and diverse career paths. From social inequality to public policy and healthcare, our team will help students see economics as more than just numbers, but also as a tool for change.
Responsible Leaders Challenge
Years 10 and 11
The Responsible Leaders Challenge is aligned with the senior school curriculum and empowers budding entrepreneurs and marketers to unleash their creativity and business acumen.
This in-school challenge requires participants to work in teams to devise compelling, contemporary solutions for the Gold Coast University Hospital.
