From the bitumen to the bush
The 2021 Griffith Sport Toohey Trail Run will be held on Sunday 10 October. We can't wait to welcome you back to take on the bitumen to bush, all-terrain scenic challenge from Griffith University Nathan Campus and throughout the Toohey Forest.
Whether you are a competitor who is looking to take on the 21.1km Half Marathon challenge, 5km or 10km courses, there is something for everyone at the 2021 Griffith Sport Toohey Trail Run.

This year’s Griffith Sport Toohey Trail Run charity beneficiary is Diabetes Queensland.
Diabetes Queensland is a charity and membership organisation providing practical education programs, essential advice, ongoing support services and advocacy to Queenslanders living with diabetes, and those at risk.
Sponsorship of the Griffith Sport Toohey Trail Run will help you boost your organisation’s brand and positioning within the local community, and align yourself with a reputable event that helps to build active and healthy communities. You will be assisting to raise awareness of your organisation, use it as an opportunity to engage your employees in beneficial health and well-being activities in the community, all the while helping to raise funds for Diabetes Queensland - our very deserving Official Charity Partner.
Race day volunteer

Griffith Sport Event Leaders
If you are a current Student studying Sport and/or Event Management, or those with an interest in helping out, the Griffith Sport Event Leaders Program is for you. We will give you the opportunity to build practical skills to complement your current university studies and, most importantly, increase your graduate employment prospects. Leaders will work across a range of different sporting events in varying roles in order to develop a well-rounded base of skills.
Griffith Sport Event Internship
You will participate in some fantastic events, and be educated in understanding the different stakeholders and processes involved in delivering successful events. You will gain experience in not only the administration and planning aspects, but also in onsite liaison, through to post event debriefing.
