Promoting an inclusive, sustainable future for our region
The Asia-Pacific region is at a critical juncture in its pursuit of a sustainable future, balancing rapid economic growth with the urgent need for environmental stewardship. As economies expand and urbanisation accelerates, the demand for energy and natural resources continues to rise, presenting both opportunities and challenges. Governments and businesses in the region are increasingly recognising the importance of transitioning to sustainable practices to mitigate the impacts of climate change and preserve the environment for future generations. This transition requires a delicate balancing act, ensuring that economic development does not come at the expense of environmental health.
Our researchers in the Green Transition Development Hub focus on navigating the complexities of this energy transition, addressing the multifaceted aspects of climate finance, green development, and the creation and implementation of robust Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks. By conducting in-depth analyses and fostering innovative solutions, our team aims to support the Asia-Pacific region in achieving its sustainability goals. We are committed to helping policymakers and businesses integrate sustainable practices into their operations, promoting long-term environmental stewardship alongside economic prosperity. Through our research and advocacy, we strive to pave the way for a greener, more resilient future for the region.
