Wildlife at Griffith

Griffith University has campuses at various locations across southeast Queensland. What makes Griffith remarkable is that these campus locations are home to many of Australia’s unique native plant and animal species.

How to handle wildlife

Do you know what to do if you see injured or misplaced wildlife?

Griffith is committed to protecting Australia’s native wildlife and asks students to be aware and alert to native animals on campus.

Wildlife can become easily stressed through contact with people.  To protect their welfare and yours, please avoid touching or disturbing wildlife and their natural habitat.

If you are concerned about your welfare or the welfare of an animal please inform Griffith Security.
