Why is this study being conducted?
The purpose of this study is to test an oral study drug to see if it can safely help adults who have Alzheimer's disease preserve their memory and thinking skills as well as overall function.
Who is eligible to participate in this study?
You may be able to take part in this trial if you:
- Are between 60 and 85 years of age
- Have Alzheimer's disease
Additional eligibility criteria may apply and will be discussed directly with the Clinical Trial Coordinator.
What happens during the study?
Trial duration will be up to 57 weeks and participants will have up to 20 trial visits.
Trial site visits will occur at the Griffith University Clinical Trial Unit on the Gold Coast.
Participants will have MRI scans throughout the trial.
Participants are required to have a study partner to attend visits with them.
Volunteer to participate
Participation in this study is completely voluntary, and participants can decide to withdraw at any time.
Eligible participants will be reimbursed for their travel associated with each study visit.
