Dr Carl de Wet is the Clinical Director of Gold Coast Health Specialist Medical Services. Previously, he was the Primary Care Clinical Lead for the Gold Coast PHN, and Queensland’s Healthcare Improvement Unit. He is a member of the Queensland Clinical Senate, the Deputy-Chair of the RACGP Expert Committee on Standards, and the recipient of the 2021 Queensland RACGP Council Award. Carl is passionate about health care quality and innovation. He regularly presents at international conferences, publishes in peer reviewed journals and co-authored a textbook on quality improvement.
