For continuing and fixed-term academics, professional and support staff working in both full-time and part-time capacities

If you have been confirmed to have COVID-19 and exhausted your sick leave, but are unable to work Anywhere Anytime, then additional sick leave will be approved until you are medically cleared of COVID-19. Please talk to your manager and the Human Resources team on 07 3735 4011.

For sessional and casual staff

If you have been confirmed to have COVID-19 and precluded from attending the workplace as a result and unable to work Anywhere Anytime, all sessional and casual staff will be able to access paid leave of up to 10 working days (14 calendar days), when supported by medical evidence. This includes the three-day testing period allowance and will be available to cover the rostered hours that would normally have been worked during that period.
